Haig Partners' President and Founder, Alan Haig, sat with Daryl Kenningham, CEO of Group 1 Automotive (#4 on the Automotive News Top 150 Dealership Groups list) recently, and in their conversation, they discussed brand desirability as it relates to consolidation.
Alan asked Daryl during the conversation if Group 1 would be interested in acquiring Nissan dealerships, to which Daryl Kenningham replied, "Maybe not." However, when asked about Stellantis, Kenningham did offer a positive outlook on that brand.
