The Q1 2024 Haig Report® (page 17) featured an open letter to Elon Musk which has been published in Automotive News. In the open letter, Haig Partners urges Elon Musk to consider partnering with new retail franchise dealers in order to achieve higher profits, while massively reducing the amount of capital required for further growth (read the full letter below). Elon Musk responded to the plea with, "Just buy things online," showing no interest in the franchise dealer network.
